Reliable protection for your eyes from blue light
Blue light has a very short wavelength and therefore carries a greater amount of energy. Studies indicate that, over time, exposure to the blue end of the light spectrum may cause serious long-term damage to your eyes. Wavelengths are measured in nanometres (nm). Blue light has a wavelength of approximately 380 nm to 500 nm, making it one of the shortest and highest-energy wavelengths.
There are many artificial indoor sources of blue light, including fluorescent and LED lighting, flat-screen televisions, computers, laptops, mobile phones and other devices. Blue light emitted by the screens of computers, notebooks, smartphones and other digital devices is particularly noticeable. These emit significant amounts of blue light, and it is important to protect your eyes, especially if your work and daily routine involve prolonged exposure to these sources of rays that can be harmful and tiring to the eyes.
